Ibexx, I lurk and read because I can't spell or write very well, but I want to ask you what you think about a move I made with rambus. On the last run to 116 I sold the Januray 2002 $110.00 leaps for $48.00. I then bought 480 shares @ 98.00 on the pull back, and sold another 4 ccontracts. I than again sold the leaps for about 43.00 and scooped up another $17k. I and then bought another 220 shares of rmbs @ about 98.00. Now if the stock run to 200 by Jan 2002 I have a double and did not leave anything on the table. If it run to 250. I left some money on the table. The way I figure rmbs is at there 2002 earnings multiple of 30x $7 a share. Here is what happens @ 200. by Jan 2002:
Original Cost 1000 @ 50,000. and the rest cost he about 5k of my own money ans the rest was paid for with preimum options.
SOLD 1000 @ 110.00 = 110,000.
Sold 400 @ 110.00 = 40,000.
Sold 400 @ 200.00 = 80,000.
TOTAL REVENUES 230,000.
If the stock is out of the money by then I reduced my cost to $27.75 a share since I had an oringial cost of $50.00 a share.
