Digital Jam did an excellent piece on internet gambling tonight in response to the N.Y. Supreme Court judge banning internet gambling in New York state.

They had Albert Angel of the Interactive Gambling Council who basically said that the legal issues were still very far from being resolved. They went on to say that Lasseter's Casino of Australia is allowed into U.S. homes because it's from a bigger, richer nation, Australia, than the country of origin of the casino in the N.Y. case, Antigua?!? And they even said that one of the Antiguan casino's defense was that internet lottery was already legal in the U.S.?!? The Antiguan casino even brought up racism as a cause for the adverse ruling. Great!

All this served to highlight the confusion over the issue of internet gambling now and give the industry some exposure to investors.

Be patient!
