Amazon and Barnes & Noble also list zillions of Partridge titles (although most are out of print). You can check out their lists using the URLs in in my last post, <#reply-10665097>.

Partridge was unbelievably prolific, churning out books on everything from slang to usage to French literature. One that I would recommend is Shakespeare's Bawdy. I got a lot of fun out of that book, but it apparently disappeared in one of my moves (Must have been the fault of those drunken Budget Movers!)

I went to ABE, and found four books there that I had been unable to find through the usedbook resources I normally use. Orders already in. You should write ABE asking for a commission! <g>

And the best thing is that they are in Victoria, right across the Strait from us, so if I have any problems I can just zip over there and settle them in person!
