I agree, but I have a feeling he knows that he's helped induce the bubble in US equity markets, and is slowly trying to let off steam. Whether it works or not we'll soon find out.

Regardless, US markets did need to shed a few excesses. Then again, I think we could lose another 400 SPX points and still be over-valued. :)

Biggest problem I see is that not enough people understand what he is saying or trying to say, and twist it to fit whatever their opinions are at the time. Makes for a dangerous combination. We all need babel fish in our ear if we are to decipher what Greenspan is saying. <g>
