I seriously believe it will disappear. I have held QNTM, SEG, and WDC off and on (mostly on) for more than 4 years. Don't know if that makes me long term, but certainly I do believe WDC needs to be consolidated.

I do not know about disappearing all together, but we are surely in a deep deep trouble. Chuck should step aside at once.

Darrell -

If you had a $150mil equity credit line at your disposal, and $225mil in the bank, would you be selling stock when it's around 5 bucks? Of course not! Unless of course you are burning cash so fast it's the only way you will survive more than a year when you hope magically things will work out. They are limited to raising $12mil/month from the equity credit line - that's why they sold last Q(note in the latest CC "oh by the way, the share count will go up a couple mil") and are continuing to sell now. They are in trouble and they know it. IMO it's only a matter of time.

WDC has had some fundamental flaws in it's business plan over the last few years(sticking with TFI, buying back gobs of high priced stock - forgetting about the required treasure chest needed for the tough times) and will die a loud screaming death as a result. They enjoyed the profits when they existed, all of the shareholders marveled at the magnificent management, but they are now paying the piper. This company has lost almost $700mil over the last 7 Qs, that's more than double what they enjoyed in the good ole' TFI times.

Done, over, forget about it. This biz is tough enough on all participants, don't decide to support the poor sickly ones. Move on.
