Kemble re: "WE HAVE SPENT THE PAST 15 YEARS REFINING TWO CORE CAPABILITIES: A CUSTOM-BUILD PROCESS FOR BOTH HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE THAT BRING COST EFFICIENCIES TO DELL AND ITS CUSTOMERS, AND A PERSONALIZED CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP PROCESS."

The key is these capabilities are the result of business and manufacturing processes that require development over a long time. Dell has also been working on service processes that enable them to handle three year warranties for $959 full blown PC's that include a year of ISP and are sold to newbees. This Dell train is awesome.

Cheers
Mike

Kemble:

Hi! I am a believer :)!! The Street needs to cooperate. I am sold and committed to Dell and the future!! We have the right Management and the right stuff to make this work!! Everything is out of my hands and yours! Perseverance can be painful, but the end result will be worth it!! I think we are all very accustomed to seeing Dell ahead of the pack, so it hurts to feel like you are sidelined, for now. If we can just get this interest rate and Y2K stuff out of the way, we might see our stock recover. I am glad that Dell Management has remained focused on the Company and the plan. Keep sharing your encouraging thoughts. LW
