One of my best friends died of AIDS. I hope very much we find a permanent cure for it. It's a truly terrible disease.

However, I am of the opinion that UPCA does not have it; certain enough, in fact, that I was willing to short the stock. Perhaps my small contribution to a deadening effect on the price prevented even larger losses to some of the longs.

Your bombastic, insulting, personal attack speaks volumes about you. However, I hope that you can, indeed, rescue some portion of your investment.

Good day to you.

Rod:

After reviewing my post, I can see how you may have thought that I was gloating. I wasn't. My apologies.

I don't celebrate you losing money. In fact I'm not "celebrating" at all. I celebrate special occasions, family outings, and special relationships, just like you do with your wife and children.

I make money by successfully discovering stocks not worth their trading value. Nothing I have done has in any way caused you to lose money. In fact, I may have allowed you to buy at a lower price than you would have otherwise, thus possibly limiting your potential losses.

In a closed loop feedback system the feedback is always negative to provide stability. Systems analysis shows this to be true in markets as well. The presence of shorters provides a more stable pricing environment.

Their is nothing unpatriotic or "evil" about it.
