Ray,

My apologies, it was a poorly constructed post, since it was ambiguous.
I think that we shall hear more on the potential for inflation from Greenspan tomorrow.

The story reported this am on CNBC was that Greenspan's prepared remarks were the same as last week. So, maybe that flipped the rally switch, eh?

Also, the consumer sentiment was reported to have turned down.

This week is fun. I think that if AG is true and the further economic data is fair we are going to rock.... but of course I am frequently deluded...

<< I was surprised by the strength at closing as I thought with Greenspan "on" tomorrow the market would sell off before the close>>

The pits were waiting to short, it was only question of time, they wanted to trigger the longs and just it took sometime, when everyone thought it is done and dusted for the day, the sellers came in..
