Thanks for the link Marden, (and the persistence).....

From everything I can figure out it looks like bluetooth will be an integral part of whatever vision most people have of a 'wireless' world.....so why cant i find anything on the Q website when I do a search under bluetooth? Does anybody remember any comments from the Q about this standard?

If Tero's estimates are right, there will be bluetooth enabled devices out by Nokia by next year....at the minimum, the next generation of pdQ and Thinphone will need to have this type of connectivity. The pdQ would automatically synch with your PC or laptop whenever you came into the same room with them...and you could surf the net from a laptop while keeping your Thinphone in your pocket (no cords needed). These are probably the two most mundane applications.

Anyone know how the technology is implemented? Would it be it's own special chip or just another section of the MSM ASIC? I'm not sure why I ignored this technology for so long (probably because I associated it too much with Ericcson) but I'm hoping that the Q hasnt done the same.
