chaz, thanks for the late night talk. I am in Southern MD tonight (Solomons, near the NAVAIR base) trying to catch up on posts and feed the hungry stock market brain cells.

NTAP and EMC will de-link if either of them start to slow their growth rate and/or margin significantly.

I think there is a chance that NTAP's growth rate may accelerate 10-15% beginning q2 cy2000 and be evident by q4, as Y2K issues go away and storage requirements for NT-based systems grow faster than now. Dell's branding of NTAP filers won't hurt, either. (Dell is NTAP's NT marketplace channel, and they will be very successful, imo.) Dell's sales will be incremental to NTAP's sales.

BTW, this is pure speculative bs on my part!!! But what the heck, it sure sounds good....<gggggg>
