PRW: Franklin Telecom Enjoys 2nd $4 Million Quarter; Revenues for Fiscal Year
Top $10 Million

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 29, 1999-- Franklin Telecom
(AMEX:FCM) Thursday announced that revenues for the quarter ended June 30,
1999, are $4 million.
Franklin's fiscal year runs July 1-June 30. While the audited figures for
the year will not be released until September, this announcement confirms
that annual revenues will be in excess of $10 million for fiscal 1999.
This marks a growth rate of more than 614% over the previous year. Revenues
for 1998 were $1,377,000.
Ronald Weaver, vice president of Worldwide Sales stated, "I am especially
pleased that during the June quarter Franklin secured several new customers
with significant growth potential, giving us a customer base which is both
broader and deeper. Hardware sales are feeding our IP network...and vice
versa."
According to Franklin President Peter Buswell, "Needless to say, I am very
proud of the entire Franklin team from engineering to sales to production to
network operations. This has been a year of shifting gears and establishing
Franklin as a serious, ongoing player in the Internet Telephony game. Any
way you choose to measure it, our growth has been phenomenal."
Buswell continued, "Going into the new fiscal year, we have a much more
mature product line which offers VoIP solutions for everyone from the SOHO
level up to carrier class. At last we can stop saying 'Franklin is poised to
do' this or that: we can now be fairly judged on our ongoing performance."
