The lady to my left across the aisle (a 30's starlet type) called her broker on the airphone 5 times during the 4 1/2 hour flight to check the prices of YHOO, INTC, and Ebay. The man sitting on my right was writing what appeared to be a business plan for an online vitamin store. I didn't even bother to laugh at him. Every time I stop in an airport lounge, there are at least two people at the bar talking about internet stocks. This is a mania, and it will end badly. So badly that there WILL be a recession.
