Finally... <g>

Hi Brian! Does your main PC (host) have to be on for the second PC to access the internet? Or, is it bypassed when idle? I'm asking this because if the host does come on from a suspended state I may have to relocate my "main PC" elsewhere and with my cabling that can be a pain in the you know what...

I use NetGear SB104 (comes with 2 NIC, cables and a 4-port hub)myself and you can't beat the price...it works like a charm... Bay Networks have always been one of the better ones anyway. I have GTE DSL with 384K full duplex so bandwidth is not a problem... not yet anyway.

TIA,
SF
