Can't resist the urge to breakout of the cell I lurk in, to comment on LAUN. Long-term (several months to years) it may be a great stock. In the immediate future, I believe it will underperform. Here's why: - Although it has a wise and experienced board of directors, upper management appear to be well educated punks (I'm sorry if that's too subjective). Let me put it this way. Wait until you have had a chance to speak to or listen to a presentation by upper management before you buy. They do not instill confidence. - The stock did not respond to underwriter upgrades after its quiet period. In fact it plummeted. The rumor is that one of its big financial backers pulled its investment off the table after the quiet period. This is one I wouldn't touch until it showed a profit. And I don't think much smart money (whatever that is) would touch it until then either. Cheers!
