Gersh, I understand your motivations to make these idiots personally responsible.

However, consider that when I was up in Northern Virginia, the two folks running for the House seat from my district spent $5 million dollars. This is for a job that paid, at the time, a little over $100K per year.

I looked at those numbers and reflected that there must be some other perks involved. While I'm too uninformed to know the reasons, there seemed to be some other issues involved.

It is clear to me that change will not happen from the top, and probably seldom does.

Berney

I think we should keep Lawyers out of Congress, as they are all ready representing the Judicial system. I think we should choose new people to represent us, and only those that live among us.(hillary not)I think we should hold accountable all those individuals that are looking to better their own pockets and not do the job they were sent to D.C. to do. I think you have to support the federal government as well as the state & local by a tax. I like Forbes, McCain, Reform politics. What we can not do is inflict laws on those people who are now serving and have done things in the past, including pork barrel projects.
However, we do need to change the rules and the only way to change the rules is with new teams! Look we change the coach every 4 years. Or attempt too!
