<ebnews: Although Advanced Micro Devices Inc. www.amd.com has begun shipping its K7 microprocessor, the chips will only initially run as fast as 600 MHz, the same as the new Pentium III> Chuck, I thought the article had a clear pro-Intel slant. It had a bunch of nonsense reasons explaining the cheap Pee-III/600 price, but did not even mention Athlon as one of them. The above quote illustrates the negative tone of reporting a remarkable achievement. Kap.
