TokyoJoe Announces Investment Opinion

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 28, 1999--Tokyo Joe's Societe Anonyme, www.tokyojoe.com, the independent e-mail stock advisory service, went 90% cash July 19, with a caution for members to be defensive during the summer doldrums, after its buys gained more than 50% on average from the June lows. Since then, Tokyo Joe has released the following selective buy alerts: Cisco Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CSCO) at 61 5/16, Citigroup Inc. (NYSE: C) at 47 3/4, Engage Technologies Inc (NASDAQ: ENGA) at 26, IBM (NYSE: IBM) at 123 3/4, Lucent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: LU) at 65 3/4, Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ: MSFT) at 88 1/2, and Paradyne Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: PDYN) at 40.

Tokyo Joe issued these buy alerts because of his strong faith in the U.S. economy and the earnings power of high-tech companies. "It is time to look for selective buys," he emphasizes. "Technology is on the brink of new heights, and going into the year 2000, technology will lead our daily lives even more. Further, the transfer of technology on a global scale will truly bring about meaningful changes in the next century."

Tokyo Joe turned defensive July 19, shorting DoubleClick, Inc. (NASDAQ: DCLK) at 100. He did this jointly with his buy of Engage Technologies Inc. He reasoned that ENGA has the best "fingering" technology available and that the "CMGI buy of Alta Vista will give them the right to cancel the existing 3 year contract [with DCLK], with escape clause built in" and give that account to CMGI's IPO, ENGA. ENGA hit 47 before pulling back recently, while DCLK closed Tuesday at 80 3/4. Additional short alerts issued July 19 were: IBM (NYSE: IBM) for 9 points, QUALCOMM, Inc. (NASDAQ: QCOM) for 8 points, and At Home Corporation (NASDAQ: ATHM) for 3 points.

Current and past alerts by Tokyo Joe's Societe Anonyme can be found at its web site (url: www.tokyojoe.com). Tokyo Joe's calls in June were very successful. After a CMGI buy alert at 72 issued on June 15, CMGI quickly reached 93 1/8 by the close of market on Wednesday, June 16 and later peaked at over 120. Likewise, Knight/Trimark Group Inc. (NASDAQ: NITE) was bought at 41 and peaked at over 64. A buy of Oracle (NASDAQ: ORCL) at 27 3/8 peaked at just under 40. Other buys were placed on High Speed Access (Nasdaq: HSAC) at 17 13/16 (peaked at 49 3/16, a 180% gain) and Xircom, Inc. (Nasdaq: XIRC) at 25 (peaked at 36). Additional buys made on Tuesday, June 15 showed the following gains after the second day: At Home Corporation up 16 3/4 points (21.5% gain), Amazon.com, Inc. up 19 11/16 points (21.4% gain), Priceline.com Inc. (PCLN) up 12 3/4 points, Infoseek Corporation up 5 1/4 points (11.9% gain), Lycos, Inc. up 8 7/16 points (11.4% gain), and America Online up 5 points (5.5% gain).

And to think STRU went from .02 to .60 with no compliance, no reporting and most likely no profit and here we have a company with a revolutionary system for parking, which may not be glamorous, but as we all know brings in a heap of steady revenues, that is reporting and that is willing to answer questions you may have on their Web Site in there Chat room.

Looks like we have a winner here how much of a winner we will see.

Best to you GB
