Their device probably will work. I work in the energy industry and have first hand experience in one installation that used this or a similar technology. The only problem was the manufacturing changed hands and the price of the device nearly doubled. This made the device too expensive to use in most of the US, since the simple payback was too long.

My guess--sound technically and works great on paper. Too expensive for huge sales.
