Therefore, we should not be surprised to see additional weakness throughout the balance of the summer as investors trim positions and head for the beach.

Not sure any gemmers can drag themselves away from their computers long enough to head for the beach...unless it's after the close or on the weekend! <g>

SHIRLE A: I love these guys like Blodgett. It comes down to "the 'nets'll go up...if they don't go down...and if you buy 'em you gotta be ready for "volatilit, a smarmy euphamism meaning "GOING DOWN". And this stuff about "investors heading for the beach (yeah, lotta beaches in Iowa) and trimming positions"...and "the country returns from vacation in September" is bunk and nonsense. Blodgett Schmodgett..the yutz is covering his toochas and offering nothing. Give me an analyst who comes out with a buy, sell, short, avoid. Even if he's wrong...he gets my respect, 'cause he's done his work, and come to a conclusion. Gotta separate the Blodgett's from the Cramer's. I'm not surprised Blodgett Schmodgett works for Merrill, the firm I call The Drooling Bull. (Lee)
