It turns out eBay did in FACT stop the public from the Q+A portion of the conference call.

fnews.yahoo.com

So, for those of you who thought it was a glitch, no, it was a purposeful decision by the company to deal with the analysts only.

Chang, are you the one making 'Honest money'?

We are at the advance state of 'economic prosperity'. At this state,
you either make it, or suck. It just human nature and why history
always repeat (sooner or later).

Every 20 to 30 years old in America is investing in:
cereal.com, potato.com, drug.com, rice.com, phone.com, president.com,
watch.com or busy writing business plan to start a company with the
suffix .com. There is no infra-structure to build, free money from
the public to finance the company.

It's amazing to see 'XYZ.com' trying to be Walmart.com, Walgreen.com,
Barnsandnoble.com...... I don't see Walmart and Walgreen are
playing dead. They got the brick and mortar, it's a side-job to
start the 'virtual side' with all the backbones in place while
the virtual guys working from the otherside in.

Internet is a great tools, for the legimate. It's great tool for
existing company to enhance their] operation.

Of course, the free money to start a business who otherwise has no
chance to start in a 'normal business environment'.

At the end of the day(years), the president of the company(virtual)
says thank you very much for the 'free money', now we have a
real company and my PE is 20,30,50 not 100000. You are the
pride owner of this company and we just made 10cents this year
and will be making 15cents next year, 20cents the following years.

The problem is when 'virtual' meets 'reality', there is no place to
hide.

Good lord, we have the best salesman/showmanship in the world.
