e-commerce a very competitive world - IMO less than 5% of the starting sites will ever really make it. Looking at a biz going e-commerce, then look for following: a) Already having the know-how of mail order ? b) If products, are they such products you would would expect to be a hit selling via mail or phone-order ? - Is there a history of this kind of trade with the products. c) Services - Are the services of a kind, that can work without personal contact ? d) Marketing and advertising - Can you expect the company to have the necessary fund to really initiate run to the web-site via advertising ?, as this is where the huge cost is in this area. Generate visits to the site is not just informing the search machines - Need "old" fashioned advertising too. The internet stock balloon has some severe holes by now. But I'll admit that it do not deflate in a bang as I expected it. ICHG, I believe, has to find further forum for news and stories, in order to become a stock hit. The initiating owners are too well known in these forums, and that has caused quite some noise. Kr Jens
