dragonpawn, that is my suspicion also, and there has been some rumor mongering about a possible IBM takeover floating around the stock boards. A service to which I subscribe shows very strong evidence of accumulation of Mylex stock since the beginning of this month, which I took to mean perhaps a recovery in progress. Now I think that was not the case. Really hard to keep news of a buyout from leaking; trouble is, there are so many false rumors of buyouts that I generally ignore them. Starowl
