I don't think NITE is just sitting on the sidelines. I have not seen much written regarding NITE's entry into the ECN arena in the form of E-Knight.

Also we should take heart in knowing NITE is not the only stock to take it on the chin recently. Look at AOL, currently at $96 1/2 down from $175+. I remember a couple years back when many thought AOL would be put out to pasture by the new up and coming ISPs. It was then trading in the $14 area, subsequently climbing to it's recent highs with a few splits along the way. Now they are under pressure from free computers with an ISP sign up and are taking a needless beating as is NITE. AOL will prosper and so too will NITE. There are always a lot of uncertainties that crop up after a stock makes a celestial climb and then takes the inevitable drop. I've posted before that these drops are healthy, albeit painful and form a basis for new price appreciation.

All the postulating on the whys and wherfores will not change a that.
