epics - SORRY, I THINK YOUR MSPG PROBLEM IS ATYPICAL...i have used them as an isp for over a year and the service has improved over that time...and has been terrific from day one...much better than AOL. i also have ISDN, and most of the time there is no difference to me between mspg and isdn.

btw, based on my experience using aol, i thought it was a good short about 18 mos ago...woops! you probably ought to look into your application more carefully to figure out what the problem really is...everyone i know of who uses mspg is completely satisfied...since i don't know "netcom" or their servers, is it possible that i am using mspg w/o netcom..? are they going thru netcom in certain geographies only?

don't short mspg...you'll be sorry. it's got more potential, along with elnk, than the big isps at this point imo. cheers, GR

FWIW, I just switched to MSPG from ELNK. What an improvement! Long/short arguments aside, the service is fabulous, connectivity is slightly better w/ increased throughput and definately more reliable connection than ELNK. Good luck.

Regards,
SH

Epics,
I have been using MSPG as my ISP satisfactorily for years now. Personally, I find that their reputation for quality service is well-deserved. Sorry you're not getting that same experience.

Regarding the DSL topic, MSPG has already signed partnerships with Covad and BellSouth to provide DSL in their territories.

Peace,
Mr Bones

I've been a Mspg customer for about 2 years and have been generally happy.
