Yet again, the correct way to play NITE was to short yesterday's cautious comeback. Like I was saying - any rise, fodder for shorting. My view was disputed, and I think it has been borne out.

However, having said that, no stock ever goes ONLY down, or only up.

Thus, NITE too should rise and hold the gains without succumbing to shorting, and now it is just a question of time. Today the markets are mildly negative, and that is not a helpful environment for a stock as weak as NITE. Patience.

FBCO is selling.

Given the strong FA history of NITE I was curious as to why the selling and lack of buying. In polling our club the principal reasons given were 1- The insider selling. 2- The unrestricted shares that could be sold at will. 3- Fear of the ECN's or other means to bypass the MM. 4- The company's announcement that earnings growth will slow considerably. 5- Being almost 50% off its highs the company is not at all defending its market cap.

The above are in the order of importance given. What would be most important is that the company give investors assurances that they are aware of their concerns and the steps they are taking to remain dominant.
