"Lazerus" I love it! And it's just toungue-in-cheek enough that it fits Yahoo's slight cultural irreverence. Tom, you're a marketing genius.

Yea keep going....get a thousand or so Banks up there

I used to wonder why Yahoo! did not just buy one of these online banks and offer their services to Yahoo's millions of customers. It is so clear that Yahoo! will do better allowing access to EVERY bank that wants onto its server. The Telebank news is not negative for Checkfree. Thousands of banks are going to want access to traditional portal eyeballs. Bank of America is doing the same with Yahoo! In fact, they pave the way for Checkfree billpay by providing legitimacy to the issue of safety of banking and buying and even paying bills on the internet through Yahoo! It is more powerful for many banks to tell consumers that using the internet and Yahoo! is safe for banking than it would be for Checkfree and Yahoo! to do the same without the banks' endorsements. Bring on more banks, even if they do not use Checkfree billpay.
