I absolutely agree. You can talk about AOL all you want, but at the end of the day, I will bet on MSFT Windows CE regardless. And therefore will bet on SCKT as well. (By the way, it is my aggressive opinion that as internet users become more sophisticated, AOL will have its problems maintaining market share. I don't think that the services they provide are worth the additional cost and the service itself is sub-par with respect to speed, traffic, etc. I left a few months back and am infinitely more content. Then I told some friends who were having problems with getting kicked out of AOL continuously to do the same. Now they are happier. The chain will continue.)

No, I do get the point, and I understand what is ultimately good for SCKT. My original point, though, related to my personal search for a light/ultra thin computer for travel purposes, and the fact several I looked at used Win CE, which didn't allow me to access AOL. HP, for example, says it is not "presently available."

I don't think access to any particular service is critical, but in my case I am tied at present to AOL for several reasons. Over the course of time, I expect all of us will become less tied to any one ISP, but for now I need it. Therefore, I am looking at computers which use Win 95 or 98, which frustrates me, because that makes for a bigger and more expensive computer, and also doesn't throw any business to SCKT (and MSFT).

I agree that all the money MSFT is putting into Win CE will probably prove to be good for SCKT, and I am anxious for the stock to benefit from that, since I own a whole bunch of it.

Thanks for your thoughtful response. I hope my position is clear.

All:

For those in the know about this technology, is this a similar product as that used by Puma Technology in their Intellisync software/technology? I'm not a tech. so I have to ask dumb questions.
