Secondary offering of 10 million shares is impacting volume.

Could be for several reasons but not sure. Could be due to split (greater float - more shares available to trade), or more likely from the secondary of 10 million shares being sold after yesterday's close with those additional shares on the market as of today. No matter - the shares being offered are being sucked up - the sequential quarter to quarter growth for JDSU over the next 2-3 years will amaze all. Hold on to your seatbelts - this is a long-term hold and anyone thinking we are even near a top in this stock will be very sorry they even thought about selling their shares.

The average volume figures (which are usually for previous three months) don't always adjust for splits right away. So you would expect double the average volume, or 1.8 mil.

Obviously, though, we're well above that, as well. Other than the Secondary, I haven't a clue. It wasn't me as I can't afford the commission on that many shares <ggg>.
