I have nothing to say about the IRS, well, not publically anyway.

One thing that drives me nuts, my wife uses her SS number on some accounts and in those days we hyphenated her Maiden Name with mine. So the IRS sends it in each year, telling the Funds and so forth to withhold 31% because the SS is incorrect.

Drives me nuts. We have agreed that she shall no longer use her Maiden Name for anything.

I have roughly 2 Eastern as the Time for me to Exit my Long Position.

<Hopefully things stay the course for a couple more years>

Perhaps, but I do not like the Interest Rate specter. I think it represents a sea change in the Fed's approach. Greenspan wants to pull this market in, and I think he's getting the Word out that he is serious.

Screw dat. I'll take my chances day trading the sucker, but Long Term Holdings have to be hedged, in my opinion. Sure it could be a long time out, but a string of even minor rate increases will be, at best, a slow death. I'd just as soon leave the party before it gets busted by the G-Men.
