hi carl, I'm not a scalper but I appreciate your explanation of "narrowing the spread." I do not have the execution ability to be able to do the things you described. Recently I had an experience with BVSN which is a much thinner stock than I normally play and I was filled 3/4 below where I expected to and then noticed the spread was a dollar and thought whoa! I'm not used to that. It was careless, but fortunately I was on the right side of the trend and made some money.

Bilow:
If you'd be so kind to help me here. You stated:
<<15 1/16th. Instinctively, I, and all the other traders, will hit the offer at 15 1/16>>

Did you mean "hit the bid"?(15 1/16). If you did, doesn't "hit the bid" mean sell at the bid price and hit the offer means to buy?
