What other companies are in your mind?
15 % stake in Opticom from Norway (which also owns a chunk of Fast Search & Transfer AS, another Norwegian tech company)? I also own some Opticom shares as well as some Fast shares directly. These companies are both quoted (OK, not in the US), so you doesn't need EIDSY to buy shares in them.
Crystal Dynamics? Perhaps! I agree, that they've a nice product lineup, however before I've seen "Soul Reaver" myself, I don't judge on the value of that company.
Ion Storm? Oh, come on, I'm happy that EIDSY has no direct stake in this company (they only have a publishing agreement). The only product so far from Ion Storm was "Dominion" which sold only 15,000 units worldwide, making it a damned flop!
EIDSYs other stake in companies are just small developemnt teams, that so far haven't produced a "real blockbuster" (What I call a real blockbuster, is a game among the top 3 for at least a month)
I don't even think about the TR movie any more. Before Paramount produces just another cheap looking "Indy Jones clone" they should really dump the whole project!
