Inc

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, July 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Campbell
Technologies Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: CBTK), www.campbelltech.com,
announced today the signing of a three-year strategic partnership
agreement between Campbell's wholly owned subsidiary Imaginet
Communication Group Inc. (www.imag.net) and ZipLink Inc. (Nasdaq: ZIPL)
a U.S. national wholesale Internet connectivity provider.

This partnership agreement will ensure that ZipLink becomes Imaginet's
preferred provider in delivering connectivity through ZipLink's nation-wide
backbone. Imaginet will purchase connectivity at wholesale and resell it to
its franchisee base.

Imaginet is currently expanding into the United States as a consolidator and
Franchisor of Internet Service Providers (ISPs). ZipLink operates as a
national backbone provider offering wholesale Internet connectivity services
to ISPs, using a state-of-the-art Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM)
network. ZipLink coverage in the U.S. currently exceeds 60% or over 1,000
cities. The agreement represents an important step toward Imaginet's rapid
deployment of its franchise and conversion (i.e. consolidation) strategies
providing broad U.S. coverage for roaming capabilities and national
branding.

President and CEO, Michael Coderre said, "This is very exciting news for
Imaginet. We will now be in a position to gain another revenue stream
through the resale of connectivity services to our Franchise Network. The
agreement will also greatly accelerate our expansion into the US for two
main reasons. Firstly, it will completely eliminate the need to purchase
expensive modem equipment, phone lines and backbones that our
franchisees have had to accommodate in their capital and expense
budgets. The bottom line is that both start-up and ongoing operating costs
will drop dramatically. In average cases, start-up costs alone will drop by
over 50% thereby increasing our closing rate for franchise sales
significantly. Secondly, the rate at which we are capable of installing new
franchises will increase significantly due to the complete turnkey nature of
our approach. In addition, our franchisees will have a powerful marketing
weapon, in their ability to offer roaming to over 1,000 cities in Canada and
the US, ADSL connectivity without investing into the expensive equipment
required and in their ability to service some of the more remote,
under-serviced markets by way of the coverage available. All in all, the fit is
perfect. ZipLink provides expertise in supplying the technology while
Imaginet provides all the branding, support and back office services
required to be a successful ISP."

Headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Campbell Technologies Inc.
specializes in the acquisition, funding and management of emerging
Internet technologies. It subsidiaries, Imaginet Communication Group Inc.
and Imaginet U.S., are rapidly becoming the leading Internet Franchisers in
North America.
