Sparkle, I'm honored that you surmise that I'm such a force of evil in the stock market arena. I'm afraid your are wrong however. But I do take great pride in studying the market and having a degree of success in doing so. I might direct you over to my SI board in which you will find my selections for 1999. In reading the introduction you will note that I have no affinity for picking stocks to short. After you check my selections I fully recognize that my overall portfolio is up and you certainly have done better but at least I'm trying. Lets see my NXTL selection is up ....dang! pure luck that 300% gain. Shucks...Xoma a double. SUMX a mere 40% GLM ...shoot! Got lucky again. techstocks.com

Sparkle, I didn't mean to imply that I never short stocks and one of the unique things about posting here on SI is that you leave a track record that ANYONE can check up on. So if you would like to check up on my record let me direct you to the following board and you can check my record: 1) CYMER. When I first posted it was at about 32.00 and when it finished it's free fall I think it bottomed at 5.00 ....so 84% on this one. 2) AENG--Posted when it was about 25.00 and now at less than 8.00(and going lower) ..so let's put 72% down for this one. 3) RDOX..This was a barn burner at 5.00 when I tried to tell what was in store and now is at .75 cents...so let's put down 95% on this one. 4) WAVX...Story still unfolding but mentioned at 17.50 and now for good measure lets say 12.00...or 31%. 5) ECCC....justed started on this one so put me down at 28.00 and don't stand under this elevator when the OTIS starts down. Please feel free to check the record for each ....
