So, if you log in over telephone wires (as opposed to say cable), the telephone company charges you a nickel per minute for prime time? Man, that would get mighty expensive if you keep connected to the internet constantly.

As a comparison, I get charged $20 per month by the ISP and incrementally zero (outside of the flat line charge of $10 per month) by the local phone company to stay hooked up 24 hours per day. Quite a difference.
