re: poor breadth. I don't know how really poor it is, yes
there are 130+ new lows today and yesterday, but I tried to find
the stocks with new lows today and couldn't get much from newspaper,
and what I did find were generally preferred class shares and other high-yielding. Maybe it is the very low priced stocks with few trades etc. that aren't printed that are making the new lows? There weren't many to be found after tuesday trades. By my own impressions I find the majority of the stocks I follow are simply treading water.
