Double-plus-good, I reviewed the the annual 10K and did not find an explanation of why they have unbilled receivables. Just this statement was found in a footnote:

. Payments received for revenues not yet recognized are reflected as deferred revenue in the accompanying consolidated balance sheets. Revenue recognized prior to the scheduled billing date of an item is reflected as unbilled accounts receivable.

Do you know what type of contracts to which the unbilled receivable relate and why csgs can or do not do bill? Are these like unbilled receivables for construction contracts in progress? If so do you know how they estimate job status?
