Perhaps the Street is being a bit shortsighted. After all, Scott did say he didn't expect any significant improvement in margins or earnings before Calendar Year 2000.

That's at least 2 quarters away. The street has a tough time discounting next week.

The secondary companies did not participate today. ATMI, ASYT, HELX, SVGI, and others did not perform. They will get their turn soon.
