Dr David

I think you will be a happy camper soon enough. We might even see AOL at $103 today before close. Momentum is building.

David,
I like you have been trading AOL for a long time, along with a core holding. I would expect a lot of short covering from here up to 115, where we were at earnings. Longer-term, I see us at 180 by Christmas. Not in a straight line though...<g>.

Regards,
Tom

PS.- Vendit has been astonishingly right in his analysis. Barring any major economic disasters, his advice is top-notch.

there is a lot of turmoil
I have consistently had problems predicting what AOL stock is going to do. I also had the service for a couple of years and found it unsatisfactory as I used little of the proprietary content and was constantly plagued with hang-ups and busy signals. Many of my relatives like it for the feature of seeing who else is online at the moment and chatting with them. It appears the exclusivity of this feature is in danger. The real reason I sold is that a could get a profit (bought at $87 and saw it go up up up and down down down) and that I have about 7% of my portfolio margined and I am looking to reduce the margin even more before the possible turmoil of end-of-year and end-of-millenium trading. So in a normal year I would have kept it but this year is different.
