Burt - RE: "It happens to AMD. It happens to Intel. It happens to everyone."

"Product/process intros often slip in high tech industry."

Yup.

But some people, not exactly Elmer, have the feeling that Intel is the almighty and that they are PERFECT while AMD is the one who has always had the screw ups. Before May (or whenever the Camino DELAY became public) that thinking was justified, but now Intel is having their share of what "happens to everyone" at what could possibly be the worst time possible.

"The real question now for AMD will be yield, volume, margins.

Bin splits will be important too.

The really big question this fall will be Dresden."

Yes, these are critical factors for AMD. Looking at history, it would be easy to say they will be late.

But the times a changin'.

The upcoming situation of AMD/Intel is going to be fun to witness!
