At the risk of getting too much into the price of the stock, but you can't expect ANY stock to give the results that Qcom has in the first 7 months of this year. It is rare that a company is based on a technology that challenges well-established companies in the industry--is so misunderstood--and has a big risk factor. With the Ericy deal, perceptions changed and the stock began to find its value. Thus returns of 400%. But, that won't continue and can't continue because earnings are not going to increase 400% per year. That is not to say we won't get far-better-than-normal increases from Qcom in the next year, or for five years, but it will never equal what we have enjoyed this year. The analysts will adjust their forecasts as the next quarters justify upward adjustment and hopefully, market conditions and other things, will prompt the stock price to go upwards accordingly.

P.S. Those who are invested in G* should check my post today on that thread.
