BEAM - hopefully this type of info will keep the stock moving - especially the last sentence

Last week the FDA Ophthalmic Advisory Panel recommended approval of the Company's PMA application for treatment of high myopia and high astigmatism with LASIK using the Summit Apex Plus Excimer Laser Workstation. When approved by the FDA, this would give Summit the broadest indication in the US marketplace for the treatment of myopia with or without astigmatism. The FDA also granted Summit an IDE to initiate studies for customized ablations using its patented CustomCornea® measurement device and its LADARVision system. Summit is the only manufacturer to offer a choice of two FDA-approved excimer laser systems.

Nokomis, the real story of the day.
--SSTI got it in the a.m. but sold too early (anyone else doing this)
a small score which I should have held much longer
--RMDY good score on a bounce play from yesterday
--BRCM good score
--AGN loss, made the correct call as it went to higher highs but got stopped out using a mental stop on an intraday pullback (of course after this it went even higher, the truth hurts)
--MYL got it at 22 and rode it up into the close for a gain, as many know I LOVE dumper plays, especially if there is a good fundamental story.

Still holding a sizeable chunk of XION which is exactly what your profile says you like, a profitable, small company. I think the breakout on the charts above 5 -5 1/8 is significant.

I could have done better. I am still having a hard time letting my winners go as far as possible, and sometimes over more than a day or two.

All best wishes in your trading,

Kendall.

The other real story of my day was the e-signal news server was out from hours before the open until into the early part of my trading day. Enabled me to see just how dependent I am on this for trading.

I was unable to research many, many plays and as a result had to sit out.

UGH. All of us are highly reliant on technology.

Here is the DBC response to my plea for help--revealing.

Dear Client,
Worldcomm, one of the major Internet backbone providers is experiencing an
outage this morning. This is affecting the exchanges' ability to transmit
data to DBC. You may be unable to log in to the eSignal service, or you may
see intermittent lapses in data from some exchanges. As of 7:54am PDT, we
have seen this specifically with the CBOT and Dow Jones ($INDU) Our
engineers are in contact with Worldcomm and the exchanges regarding this
issue. Please check back at this site for further updates. Additionally,
there are currently problems with our News Servers. Our network is also
aware of this situation and is working toward a resolution. We apologize for
any inconvenience and appreciate your patience. Last Updated: July 28, 1999
For future reference go to dbc.com

Sincerely,
Marie Romero
