Globe says Cybersurf a good performer

Cybersurf Corp CY
Shares issued 18,603,066 Jul 28 close $3.48
Thu 29 Jul 99 In the News
The Globe and Mail reports in its Thursday, July 29, edition that Cybersurf
edged up 28 cents to $3.48 yesterday on the Alberta Stock Exchange. The
Globe's Market Movers column reports that the shares, good performers over
the past year, were responding to news that the communications company has
received a $5-million contract from Call-Net Enterprises to design the
infrastructure for the phone company's free Internet and E-mail service
called 3web Network. Last week, Call-Net, which owns Sprint Canada, paid
$12-million to acquire a 10-per-cent stake in Cybersurf, which offers
service in Edmonton and Calgary. Cybersurf says that Call-Net will provide
an additional $7-million in network services when 3web launches in Toronto
this fall. An advertising group in Toronto is already selling 3web
advertising to clients. The stock hit a high of $4.45 on July 19.

LABMAN: In the U.K as you know the Free Internet company, Freeserve (FREE) jumped to about US$33.00/sh on open this week, their high today was US$36.75/sh., they have 1.3 million subscribers. If their was another similar U.K Free Internet company with (i.e) 1/3 the subscribers and 1/3 the shares issued, what value (approx) would you place on that company????
