I must admit I was a little disappointed today to see SUNW down in what seemed like an up market. But yesterday I listened to the quarterly conference call, and after that I feel pretty good about the future.

Why would someone run a free operating system and opt to run the $35,000 Netscape server software and not Apache? This Linux/Netscape Server stuff just doesn't make any sense (and I'm a Linux user).

Linux is great, but it's not in the same league on the server side as Solaris. The better question would be, why are they not doing a BSD port.

Anyway, I just can't find this 'reneging' that's being talked about.
