Bill, The way you are playing August calls is the way i plan to play the January or possibly February calls--very close to expiration. Plan to make a lot of money.

In the meantime--being in mostly cash is not a lot of fun.
The little shorting i have done has paid off for 2 days and i gave up my gains in the last 2 days.

Looking to take a vacation from this for a while.

A bullish case can be made based upon the put/call ratio, which is high ---- this is a contrarian indicator and many believe the market will be going up as a result. I am not confident of this and that is why i am staying away from options for the most part.
Good luck with your options strategy.

Bill,

I doubled down on the pull back today, also (Aug 95s). Seriously lowered my cost basis. Hope we're right.
