Q-MEDIA APPOINTS NEW BOARD MEMBER

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--

Q-Media Services Corporation is pleased to announce the
appointment of distinguished high-tech industry executive Robert
S. Cecil to the Board of Directors.

Mr. Cecil, a Harvard MBA, has been Chairman of Plantronics, Inc.
since 1992, and was CEO until 1998. He was voted CEO of the Year
in the Electrical Equipment & Appliance category in 1996 and led
Plantronics to inclusion in the S&P 600 Small Cap Index and
Forbes' 200 Best Small Companies in America, both in 1998. Mr.
Cecil started his career at IBM Corporation in sales. He then
served as Vice President at Motorola, Inc. in various marketing
roles and later as President of the Cellular Group at Lin
Broadcasting Corporation. He is also currently a director of
Xantrex Technology Inc. and CW Saskfund III.

Robert M. Lawrie, President and CEO of Q-Media, said that the
Board is honored that Mr. Cecil has accepted the appointment. Mr.
Cecil's strong record of growing high-tech businesses while
emphasizing stringent management systems and highly responsive
customer service will be a valuable asset to Q-Media, he added.
