Have you ever read BRCM's PRs? Just because they were buying an unknown Indian company with lots of PhDs they tout and make the stock go higher. With their inflated stock price they are able to make aggressive acquisitions (reminds NETA though). If AB is going to say the same things that he said at the earnings conference, what is the purpose of him going to these conferences? As far as the market doubling (20%/year), they could do much better by investing that $250 million wisely by making aggressive acquisition.
