Does Mr. Prechter still predict a decline in the Dow
Industrial Average to the 400 level.

About a year or two ago I participated in a live chat session with Prechter at his web site. I asked him about that target, suggesting that such a decline would presuppose cataclysmic economic and social upheaval beyond belief. His response was something to the effect that he had total confidence in his analysis, whatever the societal implications. I haven't seen his 400 projection mentioned in print for a long while, but then again, I don't really pay too much attention to his work anymore. I mean, if he's wrong, it doesn't matter and if he's right, well, the way I see it, that won't matter much either.
