It is hard to say that there is no market for Kiva running on LINUX..I'd say there is as much of a market for it as there is market for NT...If Sun claims to be the champion of OPEN systems they should start acting like one. Linux is a major player in the Internet market whether you are talking webserver, appserver or even the backend database server( oracle, Informix, DB2 ported or porting to Linux). IBM( champion of preprietory systems till recently) is porting Websphere, Dominoserver as well as DB2 to Linux..that should tell you something.
