Stevarino sounded tired and bored. The telcos are too busy trying to buy each other, etc., and don't have any reason to move as long as none of them moves. Sounds like W-K is on life support. Terms ("based on the share price") of the put rights not disclosed, but at least not another convert (I assume?), and the $20MM is real money. My guess is, of the 250K subs, over half are real users on Excite; the rest, like me, just signed up for MyTalk for the geewhiz. I don't buy the contrast of web banner ads vs. audio ads on MyTalk-- the user knows there is a ± 10 sec. span of time to put the phone down and grab a beer or do up the seat belt. Not a word about agents or auction that I heard.

Stock'll probably go up tomorrow LOL.
