Actually I do not agree. My strategy for me still stands, but for you maybe the above statement is correct.

I see all equity investments as a constantly changing entity effected by many factors: company fundamentals, news events, interest rates, economic cycles, sector influence, big boy activity (manipulation), analyst remarks, talking heads, ect...and much of that adds up to sentiment which finds its way into the price action and volume of the stock...which all of the above shows up in the Technical Analysis.

But then there is the rub, TA is not an exact science and frankly it is open to individual interpretation. And, that ability to interpret and not be influenced is what sets individual analyst apart! (Now that paragraph should bring Options Jerry out touting P&F...<g>)

One of this thread's regular posters use to talk about bias in technical analysis all the time. I did not always agree with some of his inferences, but his premise was correct. By the way where are you StockOperator?? <g>
